Rufus Free software to create bootable USB drives
Rufus is an application for formatting drives in either NTFS or the FAT filing system. This application can be used on any version of Windows, and supports external SSD, HDD and USB/Flash drives as well as primary drive partitions. Rufus allows you to select the Drive and capacity from simple drop-down lists, and choose whether you want to format it in NTFS or FAT. For drives storing files larger than 4GB you will want to choose NTFS, due to FAT storage limits. This program has a quick format option, to skip checking to disc for bad sectors, and a 'bad blocks option' for those who only want to perform diagnostics.
